Six spooky books for fall

If you know me, you probably know that I am not a big fan of spooky books (or movies for that matter) and therefore I have barely read any books that could be described as such. However, with Halloween approaching, I still wanted to recommend you some spooky books to read. Since I couldn’t draw on my own experiences, I asked my followers to tell me their favourite spooky books.

Here are six spooky books they loved and that hopefully, you will love as well:

Those two books are classified as Middle Grade (according to Goodreads). Both of those books were recommended to me by @tbosas.updates_ on Instagram.

Those two are YA books (according to Goodreads). Cemetery Boys was recommended to me by @ilanaba_nana and Gallant by @sarahpetersonideas on Instagram.

Those two books are Adult books (according to Goodreads). The Secret History was recommended to me by @emma.adore.lire and Into the Drowning Deep also by @ilanaba_nana on Instagram.

Disclaimer: Since I haven’t read any of those books, I couldn’t write my own summary of the plot and therefore decided to copy the blurb in the hopes that those give you a good idea about the content of the books. Genre-wise they could probably all be classified in the direction of horror/thriller/mystery, but once again, I would need to read them in order to assort them to a specific genre.

I hope you have a lot of fun with those books! If you know any other spooky/mysterious books that are perfect for fall, feel free to share them in the comments.
